This is a dynamic position in a fast paced group. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge and excellent communication skills. The candidate will interact with many groups within the company in a highly visible position. In this position, the candidate will oversee the revenue forecasting and recognition of revenue to ensure proper statement and consistent interpretation and compliant application of US GAAP and company policy. The candidate will support back end operations for revenue transactions and provide business analysis and internal reporting for Senior Management. This role will also require partnership with the sales team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Account for revenue in accordance with company policy and ASC 605 and ASC 606.
Work with Revenue Senior Director to perform monthly/quarterly revenue related tasks and analysis
Support Revenue group s initiative of focusing on the next generation revenue rules (ASC 606)
Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements and controls
Determine the proper accounting for various contract structures
Liaise with the auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of quarterly and annual audits
Assist with Netsuite updates
Attend regular and ad hoc meetings, representing the Revenue team
Address technical accounting inquiries from the business and provide guidance/implications
Write/Enhance policies to ensure policies are kept up to date, ensuring compliance with current
pronouncements and developments
Revenue forecasting
Provide training to various teams within the Company
Deal structuring and contract negotiation
Assist the business with new services go to market process
Miscellaneous projects as necessary


REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

A strong understanding of ASC 605 and ASC 606
Undergraduate degree in Accounting
CPA
Relationship building
3-5 years public accounting experience with a Big 4
Must have an advanced knowledge of Excel
Strong analytical skills
Strong conceptual and practical experience in understanding and communicating technical accounting
issues specific to technology/SAAS
Detail orientation
3-5 years prior management experience
Ability to problem solve, both from an accounting and system perspective
Ability to work independently but also be a team player
Able to multi-task and prioritize in fast-paced environment
Exceptional project and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Netsuite is desired but not required
