Senior Manager FP&A

International leader in the distribution industry seeks an FP&A Senior Manager to manage a team of 4-5. This function serves as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support optimal business decision making. The FP&A Manager is also responsible for leading the development and implementation of the business plan of the company. This role will advise and help clients make investment decisions while keeping track of market trends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and develop a team of 4-5 finance professionals
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, and modeling tools at the Operating Unit and corporate consolidated level
  • Lead margin analysis, expenses monitoring and control; proactively provide analysis and recommend solutions for business process issues
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and create financial models to support business decisions and evaluation of new opportunities
  • Support ad hoc analysis projects as requested by executive leadership

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • 7+ years corporate or division level budgeting, forecasting and planning experience
  • Bachelor' s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CFA, CPA, or MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated success in team building and collaboration, forging relationships and working effectively across functions
  • Excellent quantitative, reasoning and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in order to meet aggressive deadlines;
  • Demonstrated and proven financial business acumen
  • Effective Communication Skills (Written & Verbal); ability to communicate effectively across functional groups and across varying levels of the organization
  • Ability to build complex cash flow and financial models
  • Self-motivated and able to manage own workload
  • Knowledge of with SAP, BW and BI preferred
