Lead Tax Analyst

Prepare quarterly and year-end ASC 740 calculations and supporting schedules, including financial statement and regulatory tax disclosures
Prepare US federal, state and local income and non-income tax returns and supporting schedules
Prepare quarterly estimated tax payments and extension requests
Prepare informational reporting returns and supporting schedules
Prepare monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis for global income tax accounts
Perform SOX control documentation for tax accounting and reporting
Timely respond to tax notices and support domestic and international tax audits including gathering information, responding to information document requests (IDRs), and communicating the Company s position to the auditors
Communicate complex financial issues in a clear and concise manner with various audiences to facilitate understanding of transactions applicable to the tax return and tax provision.
Participate with the identification and implementation of technology and process improvements to increase efficiency of tax provision and compliance process Assist with research of tax laws and regulations and evaluate tax impacts
Assist with analysis, documentation and implementation of special projects
Maintain a coordinated line of communication with business operations and key company resources in the organization
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or equivalent MST or CPA preferred.
4 or more years of public accounting or corporate tax experience, preferably with federal, state and local compliance experience.
Strong analytical, tax technical and research skills required.
Ownership of areas of responsibility and accountability in providing accurate and timely deliverables
Banking industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Demonstrated working knowledge of ASC 740 income tax accounting is required.
Ability to prepare technical memos and presentations that are clear and persuasive for both tax professionals and business partners
Advanced Excel skills preferred. Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Fundamental knowledge of OneSource Income Tax essential and Oracle experience preferred, but not required.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple assignments.
